The first question in a backup-power project is not the battery brand. It is what must remain powered, how much power those loads actually consume and how long they must operate without utility supply. Separate critical and noncritical loads, account for startup surges, define acceptable runtime and consider how quickly batteries can be recharged. For solar, consider available roof or ground area, shading and operating hours. Design monitoring and maintenance from the beginning. This turns an equipment purchase into an energy system that can be operated and supported.
